To run, to dig and to sleep (and some agility)

First, to run

Then dig

And finally, to sleep

We had a great time visiting my in laws in the small Idaho town of New Meadows where they have this mysterious thing called SNOW! Boise does not know what that means this year.
Rye loves snow. He rolls in it, eats it and loves to catch snow balls. He's been known to slide down hills on his belly in the snow.
I wanted to try something called skijorring (where your dog pulls you on skis) but there's not quite enough snow for that so we just went snowshoeing.

In other news, Amber won big money last weekend! I went to a New Year's Eve party with the local agility club who had a course set up. $5 to run the course, then another $5 to run it backward. The winner in each height got $15, second place got $10. We won our entry fee back with second place. Darn black and white dog beat us. Amber must have thought I was crazy loading up the car with all our agility stuff and her at 7 pm! She ran fast though.

This was in our backyard this summer, my attempt at agility action photography.

Rye has great spots. He looks so happy running in the snow. Agility on New Years Eve sounds so fun.
